Role - Team Handling

Reporting Manager - MD

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage cross-functional teams (logistics, procurement, inventory, etc.) to achieve operational excellence.
• Oversee the sourcing of raw materials such as iron ore, coal, and scrap metal, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Optimize inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to ensure production runs smoothly and demand is met without overstocking.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
• Lead negotiations with large clients and partners to close deals and secure long-term contracts.
• Work with finance and operations teams to determine cost structures, margins, and pricing models.
• Proficiency in negotiating large-scale contracts with clients and partners
• Work closely with the sales and production teams to forecast demand and align production schedules accordingly.
• Ensure the efficient movement of goods across the supply chain, including managing lead times and reducing transportation costs.

Education & Experiences:

• Education: A bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or a related field is typically required. An MBA or similar advanced degree can be beneficial.

Experience: 10-15 years of experience in commercial roles within the steel manufacturing or related industrial sectors
