Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Export Sales Manager to join our growing team specialized in Basmati rice export. The ideal candidate will have strong international sales experience, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of international trade regulations. You will be responsible for identifying new markets, acquiring international buyers, managing client relationships, and ensuring smooth execution of export transactions.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify, target, and approach potential buyers (distributors, wholesalers, retailers) in international markets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the companys market share in target countries/regions.
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and delivery schedules with international clients.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients, providing excellent customer service and resolving any concerns.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential buyers, showcasing the benefits of Basmati rice and the quality of your products.

Relationship Building:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the international market, including importers, distributors, and retail chains.
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and business events to network with potential clients and partners.
  • Represent the company at international industry conferences and trade fairs to generate leads and build brand presence.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports, including sales forecasts and performance analysis.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of sales strategies and adjust as needed to meet targets.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the management team based on market conditions and customer feedback.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Sales Growth: Achieving sales targets for international markets.
  • Customer Acquisition: Number of new buyers and markets developed.
  • Customer Retention: Repeat business from existing clients.
  • Export Delivery Compliance: Ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
  • Market Penetration: Expansion into new geographic markets.
