Network Security Analyst - Firewall (7-10 yrs)

Job Description :

Tech Skills :

Network Security : Firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), vulnerability management tools.

Web Application Security (WAF) : Deep understanding and hands-on experience with F5 ASM, including deployment, configuration, policy creation, and rule management.

Network Security Protocols : TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS.

Security Best Practices : OWASP Top 10, secure coding principles.

Scripting Languages : Python, Bash (a plus).

Responsibilities :

WAF Management :

- Design, implement, and manage F5 ASM deployments to protect web applications and APIs.

- Configure and maintain WAF policies to mitigate specific vulnerabilities and attack vectors.

- Monitor WAF logs and analyze security events to identify potential threats.

- Fine-tune rules and policies to optimize security posture while minimizing false positives.

Network Security Analysis :

- Analyze network traffic for suspicious activity and identify potential security risks.

- Collaborate with the security team to investigate and respond to security incidents.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.

- Recommend and implement security improvements to strengthen network defenses.

Security Awareness :

- Contribute to security awareness initiatives within the organization.

Requirements :

- Minimum 7 years of experience in network security analysis.

- Proven experience with WAF technology, preferably F5 ASM.

- Strong understanding of network security concepts and principles.

- Experience with security best practices and industry standards.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
