Job description
Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using a variety of PHP frameworks like core PHP and Laravel.
• Design, implement, and optimize server-side logic for web applications.
• Interact with and manipulate databases, primarily MySQL, to store and retrieve data efficiently.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, adhering to coding best practices and scalability principles.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between back-end and front-end components.
• Conduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure code functionality and identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot and debug code to resolve application errors and maintain optimal performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in PHP technologies and frameworks.
• Experience in deployment of the software.

3. Required Skills and Experience

• Proven 5+ years of experience as a PHP developer with proficiency in multiple frameworks like Core PHP and Laravel etcl.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience working with relational databases, particularly MySQL.
• Experience in developing inventory management systems or similar applications.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Familiarity with design patterns and best practices for scalable development.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

4. Desirable Skills

• Experience with additional database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, NoSQL).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of Jira Software
• Knowledge of web security best practices.
• Experience with API development and integration.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit).
