Position Overview: As the Co-Founder, Sales, you will play a critical role in defining and executing the sales strategy for our employee transportation solutions. This is a unique opportunity to join a founding team, drive business growth, and have a significant impact on the company's success. You will be responsible for building and leading the sales team, establishing key client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's vision and goals. Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in the employee transportation sector. Set and achieve ambitious sales targets to drive company growth.
2. Team Building and Management: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to enhance their performance and career development.
3. Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition, retention, and expansion of existing accounts. Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to develop and implement initiatives that support sales efforts. Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
4. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and partners. Understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their requirements. Address client issues and concerns promptly to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
5. Market Analysis and Positioning: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics. Develop insights and strategies to position the company as a leader in the employee transportation space. Provide feedback to the product development team based on market and client insights.
6. Fundraising and Investment: Participate in fundraising efforts by presenting the company's vision, strategy, and growth potential to investors. Build and maintain relationships with investors and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA with Engineering preferred.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in sales leadership roles, preferably within the transportation, logistics, or SaaS industry.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for startups and innovation.
- Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to take on a wide variety of tasks and wear multiple hats. Experience with fundraising and investor relations is a plus.
