Volvo Group India is seeking exceptional defense veterans to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team. This unique opportunity offers a 9-month consulting assignment to gain in-depth knowledge of talent acquisition strategies and practices. Upon successful completion, selected candidates will have an opportunity to be hired as full-time Talent Acquisition Leads depending the business requirements and performance of the individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Sourcing and Attraction:
    • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent.
    • Utilize various channels, including social media, job boards, and networking to build a strong talent pipeline.
    • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate suitability.
  • Candidate Experience:
    • Provide a positive and seamless candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
    • Communicate effectively with candidates, keeping them informed and engaged.
    • Manage the interview process, including scheduling interviews and coordinating with hiring managers.
  • Talent Acquisition Process:
    • Understand and adhere to Volvo Groups recruitment policies and procedures.
    • Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage the recruitment workflow efficiently.
    • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to identify recruitment needs and define job requirements.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and source of hire.
    • Generate insightful reports to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
    • Identify trends and recommend improvements to optimize the recruitment process.

Required Qualifications:

  • Military Experience: 8-12 years of experience in the Indian Army/Navy/Airforce.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical mindset and ability to solve complex problems.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to ensure accuracy and quality.
