Chief Engineer Cab Engineering

As Chief Engineer you will take the complete ownership of Cab engineering department deliveries with strong customer focus. You are responsible to secure technology development installation of the technical areas for Exteriors, Interiors, BIW along with CAE and CAB Geometry Management areas. You are also a role model in collaboration and leadership.

You are comfortable in taking difficult decisions, dealing with risks and uncertainties and standing up for the values of our company. You welcome new thoughts and ideas to challenge the status quo. You have a good global business understanding and think divergently about new ways of doing things.

• Youre holding a master s or bachelor s degree in engineering
• You have a successful track record of at least 8 years in inspiring, motivating and leading high performing teams as line manager; leading people and leading leaders.
• You have at least 15 years of work experience in automotive product development, with at least 3 years in development of components and systems, or project management.
• Continuous improvement mindset and ability to work in a highly cross functional environment.
• Management, direction setting, negotiation and decision-making skills.
• You are a proficient communicator, networker and team player and you enjoy working in a multi-cultural, matrix organization.
• You have an innovative and positive mindset, are open to change and able to establish common objectives.
• You foster inclusive and diverse teams where open dialogue and collaboration is natural and where difficult issues are faced with courage and integrity.
