We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to manage and maintain PostgreSQL databases and the Semarchy xDM platform as part of our MDM (Master Data Management) efforts
This role requires expertise in database administration, CI/CD pipeline setup, cloud infrastructure, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure a robust data management infrastructure that supports enterprise data consistency and reliability
Experience and Education Educational Background: bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
Professional Experience: 5 years+ in Cloud Infrastructure management, DevOps, database management
Master Data Management: Experience in managing master data management platform ideally Semarchy
Database Administrator: Proven experience in administering and optimizing PostgreSQL databases, including maintenance, backup, upgrades, user management and performance tuning
Primary Technology Skills (Must -have s) Experience within the Master Data Management field (MDM) , knowledge of Semarchy xDM big plus
Ensure the continuous availability and optimal performance of our MDM solution across all operational settings
Provide dedicated support for MDM development, collaborating with teams to resolve issues and implement enhancements that sustain a reliable and high-quality MDM environment
Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes
Administer and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including maintenance, backups, upgrades, and performance tuning
Leverage Microsoft Azure services for data storage, processing, and management with a focus on security and performance
Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions
Maintain comprehensive documentation for technical processes, configurations, and procedures to support team knowledge sharing
Lead and participate in major incident management, coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve critical issues promptly and implementing preventive measures for future incidents
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in infrastructure, databases, and applications, and lead incident response efforts
