The organization has the following responsibilities:

• Leading GTT Digital Operations: Overseeing the integration of the Digital Operations, CDO office, Data Simulations Platforms, and Data Governance Data Compliance into Complete Vehicle.
  We drive the digital portfolio, the development of tools and methods to support and improve overall RD efficiency and digitalization. We also deliver unique RD IT solutions and infrastructure to support our product development teams.
• Driving Digital Transformation: Ensuring collaboration, synergies, and effective deliveries across GTT, and the Volvo Group.
• Managing IT strategy and budget: Leading the alignment of strategy work including AI, data and simulation. Leading consequently the GTT IT budget and prioritizing various GTT IT initiatives.
• Fostering innovation and performance: Promoting an innovative culture while balancing technical, operational, and relational aspects of the business.

Through our CDO Office function we are managing and coordinating the full scope of IT Solutions and Infrastructure within the product development teams in the following areas:

• Vehicle HW Development Toolchains

• Vehicle SW Development Toolchains

• Data management Data Analytics, AI/ML as well as product Data Compliance

• Engineering Infrastructure and High-end Data Simulation Platforms

What will you do

The Director Digital Operations Bangalore supports the implementation of IT Solutions locally and globally. You work closely with our global functional leaders to secure a full alignment with global roadmaps and to develop the needed capabilities on site. You manage the collaboration with local and global stakeholders in GTT and Group Digital IT.

You manage and develop a team based in Bangalore with a deep expertise in

• Data Solution management
• Infrastructure and application support for High Power Computing and CAE
• Infrastructure support for engineering solutions
• Configuration management

We also want you to have:

• Master s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 15 to 20 years of experience in leading people within IT-development, digital operations or software development.
• Experience of leading the governance of an extensive investment portfolio : decision process, budget, roadmaps.
• Experience in the management of IT-technologies : architecture, requirements, cybersecurity.
• Experience in the management of external collaboration
