Software Engineer

We are Procurement Direct Material Sourcing and Ordering at Manufacturing & Supply Chain. We aim to provide digital technologies to support our internal and external global stakeholders in Manufacturing Plants and National Sales Companies with best-in-class Sourcing and Ordering applications. Among these applications we have Cost Estimation Tools (CEA), crucial for quality- and negotiations efficiency.

Main responsibilities

Be the technical lead for CEA development and incident support which includes close collaboration with business representatives and Product Owner to:

• Secure lifecycle activities.
• Act on incidents or queries in application or from stakeholders.
• Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
• Contribute to the training and development of the team and stakeholders.
• Together with the Product Owner secure business- and technical requirements.

Do you fit the profile

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in .NET development.
• Good understanding of procurement processes in strategic sourcing, operational procurement, category management, supplier management, etc.
• Experience in manufacturing processes would be an advantage
• Outstanding English verbal communication and presentation skills, confident in facilitating and coordinating.
• Self-motivated and creative; having the natural drive to learn and pick up new challenges.
• Worked in Agile setup.
• S/4 HANA Sourcing and Procurement certification would be an advantage.
