Construction Manager - Green Field Project (8-15 yrs)

Role - Construction Manager

Location - Odisha

Qualification & Experience : 8+ years of experience in a similar environment handling Project Construction, preferably in a Green Field Project. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) from institutes of reputation like NICMAR will be preferred.

Skill & Competencies :

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proven track record of managing construction projects successfully. Proficiency in construction management software.

Responsibility :

Project Planning and Management:

- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation

- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure timely completion

- Ensure that all construction activities comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines

Team Coordination and Supervision :

- Lead and supervise construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers

- Conduct regular site meetings to communicate project goals, schedules, and safety procedures

Budget Cost & Control :

- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability

- Approve purchase orders, invoices, and change orders.

- Track and report on project financial performance

Quality Assurance

- Ensure that construction work meets or exceeds quality standards as per the Contract.

- Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks and address any deficiencies or non-compliance issues promptly

Reporting and Documentation:

- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members and provide regular progress reports to senior management.
