Forming DIE Design Engineer and Autoform Simulation

Role & responsibilities

1. Independently handling Die face design and Sheet Metal simulation software
2. (AutoForm and Catia V5 along with UG NX) of Cars Body.
3. Capability of providing countermeasures for deformation, springback and compensation/morphing.
4. Capable to identify part quality issues and perform quality improvement work to enhance part accuracy.
5. Knowledge of Preparing surface data for NC programming/machining will be an advantage.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate should have 4 to 7 years of hands on experience in following

1. Independently handling Die face design and Sheet Metal simulation software (AutoForm, UG NX and Catia V5) of Car/Vehicle Body.
2. Capable to perform CAE for panel deformation/springback and provide compensation as per analysis results.
3. Basic know how of Press Dies design, machining, assembly & trials to commissioning, sheet metal parts quality issues and countermeasures for quality maturation.
4. Strong Communication skill.
