Documentation Executive - trade operation (Ferrous)

Job Description:

1. Managing Trade documentation and operations for Ferrous business of the Company

2. Handle Import & Export documentations (BL / Packing List / Invoices / COO etc.)

3. Process and submit import L/C application to the bank, review export L/C and request amendments if any.

4. Coordinate with suppliers and/or their agent for documentation & shipping requirement.

5. Check shipment status and inform sales / customer of the status timely.

6. Check import shipping documents and ensure it complies with the contract.

7. Prepare export documents and ensure that it strictly complies with the letter of credit and/or customers requirement.

8. Monitor payment from customer against L/C or terms whichever applicable

9. Constantly co-ordinate with global teams to ensure timely delivery of the commodity

Preferred candidate profile

Experience & Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years experience in Documentation and Trading Operations
• Knowledge of Business Central added advantage
• Should be a team player, willing to meet tight deadlines and able to work across time zones
• Passionate about business development, inquiry solicitation, and order acquisition
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
