Role : Asset Management Executive (SAM)

Experience : 4-6 Years

Location : Chennai

Notice Period : Immediate Joiners Only

Mode of Interview : 2-3 Rounds, F2F

Primary Responsibilities :

Governance of IT Asset Management Processes :

- Assetization and Post Assetization of newly received assets.

- Asset Movement tracking and updates.

- Asset Reservations management.

- Laptop Management (Allocation, Issuance, and Surrender).

- Tracking and replacement of leased assets.

- Overseeing Asset Disposal.

- Conducting Periodic Physical Verification of assets.

- Managing Software License Allocation and Deposits.

- Performing Software License Reconciliation (Procurement vs. Usage).

- Database Maintenance : Ensure accuracy and completeness of the software and hardware asset database.

- Service Level Management : Meet IT Asset Management SLAs and KPIs consistently.

- Process Improvements : Review existing processes and suggest enhancements to improve efficiency and controls.

- Reporting and Vendor Performance : Prepare and share periodic reports. Monitor vendor performance and report breaches in SLAs.

- Configuration and Supplier Management : Provide in-depth knowledge of configuration and supplier management practices.

- Compliance and Audit Support : Work in an ISMS and ITSM environment, ensuring readiness for ISO audits.

Secondary Skills :

- Strong understanding of IT Asset Management best practices.

- Familiarity with OEM software licensing terms (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe).

- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Multitasking proficiency and ability to manage competing priorities.

- Analytical skills combined with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

- Flexibility in work timings and willingness to adapt to extended hours when necessary.

- Proficiency in MS Office tools.
