Machine Learning Engineer - Python (4-7 yrs)

Position Title : Machine Learning Engineer

Role Overview :

The Machine Learning Engineer will develop advanced solutions to transform unstructured data (e.g., text, images, audio) into actionable insights that address business needs. As part of the Data Platform and Engineering Team, the role emphasizes building, deploying, and optimizing deep learning models to improve unstructured data processing capabilities. The candidate will work closely with data scientists, engineers, and ML-Ops teams to operationalize machine learning solutions effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build and train deep learning models to process multi-modal unstructured data (e.g., text, image, audio).

- Design and implement custom transformer architectures for specific business problems.

- Define ML solution architectures aligned with business requirements.

- Deploy, monitor, and optimize ML models in production environments in collaboration with data and ML-Ops engineers.

- Follow test-driven development practices and maintain code quality through version control.

- Support product teams in model integration, testing, and deployment efforts.

Required Skills :

- Proven experience in developing deep learning models using PyTorch and Hugging Face.

- Expertise in creating ML solutions for unstructured data types.

- Strong understanding of optimizers, learning rate schedulers, and distributed GPU computing.

- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Python programming.

- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Terraform).

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCS, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Build, Pub/Sub).

- Ability to enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration and deployment.

Experience Required :

- 4 to 7 years in machine learning, with a focus on deep learning model training and deployment.

- 2+ years of practical experience with PyTorch and Hugging Face frameworks.
