Machine Learning Engineer (4-6 yrs)

About the Opportunity :

We are searching for a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our team! In this hybrid role (2 days per week on-site in Bangalore, India), you will play a key role in developing, training, testing, and deploying machine learning models across various domains, including computer vision, natural language processing, tabular data, and time series analysis. You will be instrumental in investigating innovative deep learning based technologies and bringing them to production, while also setting up the MLOps infrastructure for existing and future AI products. Additionally, you will work directly with customer data, establishing data pipelines for data collection, curation, transformation, and versioning.

Responsibilities :

- Develop, train, test, and deploy machine learning models across various fields (computer vision, NLP, tabular and time series data)

- Investigate novel deep learning-based technologies (self-supervised learning, generative AI) and explore potential applications for production

- Set up and maintain the MLOps infrastructure for existing and new AI products

- Work directly with customer data and set up data pipelines to collect, curate, transform, and version data

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, engineers) to ensure successful project execution

Required Qualifications :

- Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

- Experience in training and deploying neural networks

- Proven hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow

- Experience in backend and API development with Python (FastAPI, Flask) or similar

- Solid understanding and practical experience with Object Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, design patterns, algorithms, data structures, and version control systems (e.g., Git)

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and Docker

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Industry experience preferred
