Application Development Analyst

Must Have skills : AWS, Python, SQL and Azure pipeline

Skills Required:

• Cloud-Native Application Development: Proficiency in Python 3.11, with experience in developing applications using AWS services such as:
  • AWS Lambda
  • EC2 Services, CloudWatch Logs, CloudFormation, VPC, Step Functions
  • S3 Bucket (for storing files/reports)
  • SQS, SNS (for email/notifications)
• CI/CD Best Practices: Experience with Azure DevOps to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring high-quality code and rapid delivery.
• Frontend Development: Proficient in React for UI development.
• API Design: Skilled in API design, development, and testing.
• Database Management: Proficient with SQL Management Studio and SQL Server for database design and development.

Good to Have :

• .Net Development: Expertise in .Net Framework/.Net Desktop & Web Development.

Responsibilities:

• Automate EC2 Operations: Develop Python scripts to automate the start/stop of EC2 machines based on Prophet Enterprise Studio requirements (an actuarial modelling software that utilizes EC2 machines for running jobs).
• Ongoing Project Support: Provide support for ongoing projects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• React-based Projects: Develop and maintain React-based projects as a plug-in framework within Excel.

Excel Integration: Integrate Excel features to perform various PE Studio-related actions in bulk, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
