Job Description
- The Planning team provides value add by:Managing or completing supply planning based on a number of indicators (sales forecast, orders, production data)
- Analyzing, controlling and reporting on relevant KPI, detecting plan deviations, and deriving recommendations
- Developing supplier forecasts and determine logistical processes with suppliers
- Analyzing order plans and critical timelines, and double-checking of available materials, parts or products in stock
- Executing load balancing calculations, and cooperating with other plants for respectively optimized plans
- Planning of monthly or weekly production program for the assigned plant(s)
- Calculating and deploying short-term (day-to-day) production plans for assigned production resources
- A job at this level:Plans the material, machine or personnel resources needed, in support of or cooperation with accountable Planning staffPerforms procurement orders, and prepares production or transportation orders according to the plans agreed
- Prepares short-term resource plans, monitors efficiency of processes, and proposes short-term measures when necessary
- Supports the team in identifying deficiencies or improvement potential
