Job Description
- Understand the Payments industry and Visas vision, strategy and how your role will make an impact.
- Understand the business initiatives and their importance to the growth of Visa.
- Develop a good understanding of the Visas BI platforms.
- Evaluate technical options and provide recommendation on scope and scale of effort required to develop an end-to-end solution.
- Be able to understand and influence System Design by collaborating with Operations and Infrastructure (OI), Security and Data Privacy stakeholders.
- Be responsible for the overall development life cycle of the solution and build and deploy high-quality BI Platforms that are scalable.
- Actively participate in defining architecture and creating solution documents, be hands-on with low level design, code review, coding, unit testing, production deployment and support activities.
- Deliver efficient and high quality solutions.
- Ability to identify and manage risks at all stages of the project and work with stakeholders to mitigate these risks.
- Identify opportunities for further enhancements and refinements to standards, processes and systems.
- Manage access controls, set up and maintain the BI platform, and ensuring the systems overall health and performance using usage reports.
- Document all processes, methodologies, and instructions related to the BI Platform. Ensure documentation is kept up-to-date and is accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- End User support and training.
2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor s Degree
