Java Full Stack Developer (Contract 2 Hire)

We're hiring for the role of Java Full Stack Developer.

Work Mode: Hybrid model 3 day work from office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, testing and maintain backend services using Java and related technologies.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless and efficient user experiences.
• Architect and implement database solutions using SQL (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g.MongoDB, Prometheus db).
• Develop RESTful APIs to support front-end services and third-party integrations.
• Optimize and scale backend services to handle increased user traffic and data processing needs.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to application performance, reliability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in backend technologies, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices.

Technical Stack:

• Experience with microservices architecture and building scalable, distributed systems.
• Strong experience in Java 8 /11 ,J2EE, Spring boot and Hibernate.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases like MySQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Prometheus DB.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, including experience with services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of security best practices for backend development and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of experience in backend development using Java.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Python, Angular JS) is a plus.
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
