Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Hyderabad for a WordPress Developer with PHP. The role involves tasks related to developing and maintaining WordPress websites using PHP.

Experience: 2-5 Years

CTC: 4 - 8 LPA only

Notice Period: Strictly looking for Immediate to 15 Days

Qualifications

Proficiency in WordPress development

Strong knowledge of PHP programming

Experience in creating and customizing WordPress themes and plugins

Understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript

Knowledge of responsive design principles

Ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions for WordPress-related issues

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.

- Write clean, well-documented PHP code.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress and PHP.

- Optimize websites for speed and performance.

- Ensure websites are mobile-responsive and cross-browser compatible.

- Integrate third-party APIs and services.

- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Stay updated with the latest WordPress and PHP trends and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- WordPress Development:

- Strong experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.

- Proficiency in creating custom themes and plugins from scratch.

- Familiarity with WordPress hooks (actions and filters), custom post types, and taxonomies.

- Experience with popular page builders (e.g., Elementor) is a plus.

- PHP Development:

- Solid understanding of PHP and object-oriented programming (OOP).

- Experience with PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) is a plus.

- Ability to write and debug custom PHP code.

- Front-End Skills:

- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.

- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.

- Understanding of responsive design principles.

- Database Management:

- Experience with MySQL and database design.

- Ability to write and optimize SQL queries.

- Performance and Security:

- Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques (e.g., caching, minification).

- Understanding of WordPress security best practices.

- Tools and Environments:

- Experience with development tools such as npm/yarn, Webpack, or Gulp.

- Familiarity with local development environments (e.g., XAMPP, WAMP, Docker).
