AWS Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

Implementing observability tooling

Dynatrace / DataDog

Performance profiling, application monitoring, etc

Improving AWS Lambda cold starts

Improving modularity of code infrastructure

CI/CD tooling

Bitbucket pipelines

Analyzing current state of code infra and working with Lead Engineer to determine best path forward.

Analyze branching structure and support standardization of branching for various systems.

Maintain terraform stacks

Implement code release and stability dashboards

Support code release activities

Help define and implement stability and observability standards across the project

Requirements

5+ years of experience with AWS as an infrastructure and platform

4+ years of experience with Terraform

4+ Years of Experience building and maintaining CI/CD Pipelines

2+ Years of experience with Dynatrace or DataDog platforms and experience understanding their dashboards for observability to take corrective actions on the platform

5+ years of experience with code repository management using Bitbucket, including brancing and merging, deployment, automation

4+ years of experience with maintaingn AWS Lambda functions and optimizing the platform use
