Manager - Presales - Telecom/FinTech (9-12 yrs)

- Position will be based out of Lagos, Nigeria / Accra, Ghana
- Support the MU team members and work as a presales specialist's solutions in the Fintech, Martech and Digitech space
- Proactively brainstorm and/or conduct innovation workshop with customers and prospects
- Conduct roadshows/workshops to create awareness of latest products/solutions/technology/ innovations in key markets
- Presales engagement with customer before release of RFP for influencing technical specifications.
- Take end to end ownership from solution stitching, demo and technical bid defense
- Responsible for review of RFPs documents, submissions, timely submissions, etc
- Conducting demos of innovative/disruptive solutions to customers
- Work closely with the regional MU team members to carry out white-space analysis, identify potential opportunities, carry out L1/L2 pitches, etc
- Track and manage AOP target region wise for the specific market unit
- Co-ordinate periodic AOP calls and support the MU head in tracking quarterly AOP numbers
- Keep abreast with latest technology/market trends and using the same to improve customer engagement
- Work collaboratively with internal teams (Business Development teams, Product Management, Business Analyst, Sales, Channels, etc.) and Key stakeholders create winning propositions
- Interact with other regional Presales teams to get insights into pitches, deployment usecases, case studies, etc
- Ensure all processes related to Bid Management, Sales Funnel reporting & tracking, Sales Forecasting etc are adhered to in the region
- Manage and work closely with new/existing partners to establish relationships that drive new business
- Define Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies and programs in co-ordination with MU team to increase the awareness offerings among customers in the region
Desired Skills and Experience Functional
- 8+ years of experience with the experience of handling complex pre-sales process
- Domain knowledge of Telco and Fintech Space
- Excellent flair for technology and solutions
- Have demonstrated abilities of working in a matrix organization
- Ability to deal with change and highly dynamic and challenging work environment across time-zones
- Worked with cross-functional/multi-national teams
- Self-motivated professional with proven strategic planning skills, market intelligence and tracking Technology/business trends
- Proven market and domain knowledge
- Willingness to travel at short notice as this role calls for frequent international travel
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong strategic/business acumen coupled with execution capability
- Excellent communication skills, presentation skills and matured in conduct and command
- Ability to understand IT/Telco platforms of varied domains such as mobile payments, campaign management, customer experience management, analytics etc
- Fluent in English; French would be an added advantage
Education and Experience
- BE / B Tech is essential, and an MBA is preferable
