JOB DESCRIPTION

VINSAK has a thriving Design department devoted to designing machines and machine parts manufacturing by the Group companies. Designers are given opportunity to learn about our machines and carry out all work related to creating, maintaining and enhancing the designs. The mechanical design engineer will also be hired in this department and will be absorbed in ongoing projects. The work in the first project will involve the following:

• Work on project to migrate designs from Creo software to Solid Edge.
• Study and investigate current designs to fix 3D assemblies and parts in order to transfer them to Solid Edge.
• Create drawings in Solid Edge.
• Elaborate BOM and upload it to PDM system.

The job may require occasional travel to Europe for a short duration.

Once the Project is complete the designer will be absorbed in other ongoing design projects.

Qualifications/ Competencies

• Mechanical Designer with at least 5 years of experience in designing machinery (mainly assemblies with machined and sheetmetal parts).
• Experience with 3D, 2D Drawing and GD&T for serial manufacturing, PDM/PLM systems and BOM structuring.
• Hands-on experience with Solid Edge software.
• Desirable knowledge of Autocad and Creo Parametric.
• Reasonable Fluency in Spoken English
• Proactive and curious person.
• The role is on-site work

Minimum Experience

5 years of experience in designing machinery (mainly assemblies with machined and sheetmetal parts).
