Role & responsibilities

Proficiency in Accounting Software

• Accounting Tools: Familiarity with accounting software like Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or other industry-specific tools.
• Excel: Advanced Excel skills, such as using formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions, are crucial for managing large volumes of financial data and preparing reports.
• Recording Financial Transactions: Responsible for recording day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Accounts Payable (AP) Management

• Invoice Processing: Verifying, coding, and processing vendor invoices for payment.
• Payment Scheduling: Ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices, including managing payment schedules.
• Vendor Communication: Coordinating with vendors and suppliers regarding payments, invoicing queries, and resolving discrepancies.

Accounts Receivable (AR) Management

• Issuing Invoices: Preparing and sending out invoices to clients/customers in a timely manner.
• Monitoring Payments: Tracking payments from customers, ensuring they are received on time.
• Following Up on Overdue Payments: Contacting customers regarding overdue invoices, resolving disputes, and ensuring collection of payments.

Bank Reconciliation

• Reconciling Bank Statements: Regularly reconciling company bank accounts with financial records to ensure accuracy.

Management Reporting: Providing regular financial reports to senior management, helping to inform decision-making processes.

• Knowledge of TALLY & SAP

• Effective communication is needed for collaborating with other departments, vendors, clients, and senior management.
