Job Description

Applications are invited for the Post of Project Scientist - I for the Ingersoll-Rand Industry Consultancy Project in the Centre for Nanotechnology Research (CNR), at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), ( JG00087999 dated 06-01-2025)

Title of the Project

Development of energy-efficient & eco-friendly material for industrial air dryers to achieve ISO 8573-1:2010 Class 4, Class 3, and Class 2 air quality .

Qualification

Masters degree with three years of research experience (preferably with good publication record) or a PhD in the fields of Physics, Chemistry, Nanoscience, or Materials Science, along with relevant work experience in related areas.

Describe if any

Candidates having knowledge in Computational fields like Materials Informatics (Capable of handling large amount of materials data with Machine Learning Algorithms). The candidate should also possess strong Materials Synthesis and Fabrication experience will be given preference.

Stipend

Rs. 56,000/- per month (+ HRA as admissible ) , stipend will be as per Institute norms.
