We are Conducing a Walk-in drive for X-ray , CT and Ct-MRI Technicians at Bangalore Location

Work Location : HSR Layout , Yelahanka

Qualification : DMIT , DMRT , DRGA , CRA, B.Sc Radiology , B.Sc - MIT

Experience : 1-7 Years

Shifts : Rotational Shifts

Salary : Based on the last CTC

Designation : Technician
Department : X-ray
Scope : This Position holds the following roles and responsibilities in the department of X Ray and
OPG

Roles and Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities

1.Performs diagnostic radiographs to include but not limited to :

• Proper positioning and radiology technique while adhering to radiation safety guidelines and

universal precautions.

• Proper placement of the imagining equipment at the correct height and angle relative to the
• patient’s body to produce the radiograph needed.
• Proper measurements taken to determine the minimum effective amount of radiation needed to

gather the appropriate image, and set the control controls accordingly.

• Prepare patients (if needed) for radiography/ procedures and take radiographs following

established procedures for patient care and safety.

• Maintain repeat rate of 2 % or less post processing of films.
• Preparation of x-ray films with request for reading by radiologist.
• Assistance to radiologist is conducting special procedures.
• Transfer of patients to and from urgent care as needed
• Need proper detailed knowledge of x-ray procedures and the ability to explain the procedures to a patient.
• Must follow regulations for protecting patients, coworkers and themselves from unnecessary

exposure to radiation from the equipment and environment.

• Must take precautions to reduce the potential hazardous radiation includes aprons and other

shielding devices.

• Must check that other fellow technicians are wearing TLD badges properly
• Maintain patient records Implementation of proper technique
• Maintaining patient records & crosscheck with the system.
• Handling reports (crosschecking the reports & films before dispatching them).
• Handling patients.
• Proper checking of the prescription.

Performs daily maintenance of x-ray equipment and room to include but not limited to:

• Daily maintenance of x-ray equipment to sustain continued operations.
• Maintenance of a clean and safe working environment.
• Maintaining patient records & crosscheck with the system.
• Handling reports (crosschecking the reports & films before dispatching them).
• Handling patients.
• Proper checking of the prescription.

2 Performs daily maintenance of x-ray equipment and room to include but not limited to:

• Daily maintenance of x-ray equipment to sustain continued operations.
• Maintenance of a clean and safe working environment.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Responsible for implementation of NABH standard.
• Preparation and distribution of preliminary radiology reports as needed.
• Preparation and release of x-ray films and reports as needed by provider or patient to include signing of

release authorization and other necessary documentation.

• Get training from the senior technicians in special procedures.

Designation : MRI Technician

Department : MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Scope : This position holds the following roles and responsibilities in the department of Magnetic

Resonance Imaging

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Performs diagnostic radiographs to include but not limited to:

• Perform complex tasks associated with the operation of high field strength magnets and related equipment to produce special radiographic images of specific body parts
• Position patients for MR scans using immobilization and protective equipment to comply with government regulations and to ensure the safety of patients and staff
• Screen patients for MR safety prior to procedure performance
• Perform Radiological procedures when not performing MRI Duties
• Start I.V.s, administer contrast media as directed and as per protocol
• Evaluate MR scans for technical quality, collate processed images and sequence of exposure and label appropriately
• Schedule patients for procedures; assist with clerical functions
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Provide for the psychological and physical needs of patients for MR procedures
• Coordinate scheduling and patient flow

2. Performs daily maintenance of equipment and room to include but not limited to:

• Daily maintenance of equipment to sustain continued operations.
• Maintenance of a clean and safe working environment.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Preparation and release of MRI reports as needed by provider or patient to include signing of release authorization and other necessary documentation.

Handles the monitoring and ordering of supplies to maintain proper medical and office supply quantity.

Designation : CT Technician

Department : Computed Tomography

Scope : This position holds the following roles and responsibilities in the department CT Technician Tomography

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Performs diagnostic radiographs to include but not limited to:

• Proper positioning and radiology technique while adhering to radiation safety guidelines and universal precautions

• Proper measurements taken to determine the minimum effective amount of radiation needed
to gather the appropriate image and set the controls accordingly.

• Transfer of patients to and from urgent care as needed

• Need proper detailed knowledge of CT procedures and the ability to explain the procedures to a patient.

• Must follow regulations for protecting patients, coworkers and themselves from unnecessary exposure to radiation from the equipment and environment.

• Must take precautions to reduce the potential hazardous radiation include aprons and other shielding devices.

• Maintaining patient records

• Implementation of proper technique.

• Responsible for educating and preparing patients for their examinations

• Provide patient care that is essential to the performance of a variety of procedures

• Take patient medical history before an exam.

• Position patients so desired anatomy will be demonstrated

• Determine and set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology

• Assume responsibility for the safety, mental and physical comfort of patients

2. Performs daily maintenance of equipment and room to include but not limited to:

• Daily maintenance of equipment to sustain continued operations.

• Maintenance of a clean and safe working environment.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Preparation and release of CT reports as needed by provider or patient to include signing of release authorization and other necessary documentation.

• Handles the monitoring and ordering of supplies to maintain proper medical and office supply quantity.

• Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
