Role Overview:

We are seeking dynamic and experienced US IT Bench Sales Recruiters with 2 to 6 years of experience. The ideal candidates will have strong expertise in marketing and placing IT consultants (bench resources) to direct clients, Tier 1 vendors, and implementation partners in the US market. This role requires exceptional communication, networking, and negotiation skills to meet business objectives and achieve placement targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Bench Consultant Marketing:
    • Market bench consultants (H1B, OPT, CPT, GC, USC, etc.) to clients, Tier-1 vendors, and implementation partners.
    • Leverage job portals (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, etc.), LinkedIn, and personal networks to identify opportunities.
  2. Sourcing and Submission:
    • Identify relevant job openings based on consultants' skills, experience, and preferences.
    • Prepare and submit tailored resumes aligned with client requirements.
  3. Vendor & Client Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and direct clients.
    • Act as a point of contact for client/vendor interactions and ensure timely communication.
  4. Negotiation & Closing:
    • Negotiate rates, contract terms, and conditions with vendors and clients to ensure optimal placements.
    • Manage rate discussions with consultants and align their expectations with market conditions.
  5. Consultant Support:
    • Maintain a strong understanding of consultants skill sets, certifications, and visa statuses.
    • Provide assistance to consultants for interviews, onboarding, and contract renewals.
  6. Compliance & Documentation:
    • Ensure compliance with US immigration laws, including H1B transfers and EAD renewals.
    • Work with W2, C2C, and 1099 employment types.
  7. Reporting & Tracking:
    • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports on submissions, interviews, and placements.
    • Keep track of market trends and consultant availability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Experience:
    • 2-6 years of hands-on experience in US IT Bench Sales and recruiting.
    • Proven success in placing IT consultants in roles such as Java Developer, Python Developer, AWS Engineer, Salesforce Consultant, etc.
  2. Technical Knowledge:
    • Basic understanding of IT technologies and terminology.
    • Experience with job boards and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Bullhorn, CEIPAL, or JobDiva.
  3. Communication Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Soft Skills:
    • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and target-driven.
    • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  5. Education:
    • Bachelors degree in any field (preferred but not mandatory).

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with immigration processes, including H1B transfers, OPT/CPT, and EAD documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
