Role Description

• Market Data Technology (MDT) is responsible for the global infrastructure that delivers real time and historic market data to hundreds of applications and thousands of users bank wide.
• Our real time distribution platform is primarily built on Refinitivs TREP & RTDS software, and we are migrating applications to managed platforms. We need somebody who has core technology engineering experience ideally in a market data environment to help us on our journey to the next generation platform.

Your key responsibilities

• Development / maintenance of real-time market data platforms and API (TREP, BPIPE, DACS, RTDS)
• Packaging & validating multiple vendor products on our various infrastructures cloud/on-prem (GCP/Anthos/Bare metal)
• Configuring & tuning market data infrastructure products in a Unix/Linux environment.
• Providing standards for our global MDT teams
• Third level support for market data applications
• Development of test tools & scripts

Your skills and experience

• Development skills in Java/C++ or Python
• Good experience of use of Unix/Linux environment bash, scripting (perl / bash
• Knowledge on development tools Git, TeamCity (or similar), Maven
• Understanding of distributed systems in a support environment
• Market Data Infra knowledge very good to have
• Understanding of networking & firewalls
• Any Cloud Migration Knowledge useful
