Vicco Laboratories was established in the year 1952 by Late Mr. Keshav V Pendharkar.
In 1959 Late Mr. Gajanan Keshav Pendharkar joined his father in their family business. He had successfully
formulated the ï¬rst Ayurvedic paste in the world with 20 rare medicinal natural herbs. He is instrumental
in bringing out the ï¬rst yellow-colored face cream known as Vicco Turmeric Skin Cream, an Ayurvedic
Product.
The science of Ayurveda, which is our naêonâs heritage is being zealously promoted by Mr. G K Pendharkar.
When all Indian companies (big or small) were succumbing to foreign technology, Mr. Pendharkar was
relentlessly promoêng Ayurveda which is being revered abroad.
Aê¢er the demise of Mr. K V Pendharkar in 1971, Mr. G K Pendharkar took over the reins of the Company
into his able hands and there was no looking back.

Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
Job Summary
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving sales growth, market share, and proï¬tability
within the assigned region for skin care, oral care, and personal care categories. The RSM leads a team of
Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Sales Oï¬cers (Sos) and sales representaê¢ves, ensuring the successful
execuê¢on of sales strategies, channel management, and trade markeê¢ng iniê¢aê¢ves. This role requires
strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of category dynamics to achieve business
goals.
Key Responsibiliê¢es
1. Sales Leadership and Strategy
â¢
Develop and execute regional sales plans and strategies for skin care, oral care, and personal care
product lines.
â¢
â¢
Ensure achievement of revenue, volume, and market share targets for the region.
Conduct periodic business reviews with the senior management team to assess performance and
align on goals.
â¢
Analyze sales data, market trends, and compeê¢tor acê¢viê¢es to provide strategic insights and
recommendaê¢ons.
2. Team Management and Development

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Area Sales Managers and sales execuê¢ves across the region.
Set clear performance objecê¢ves and KPIs for the team, ensuring accountability and regular
performance evaluaê¢ons.

Idenê¢fy training needs and organize skill development programs to enhance team capabiliê¢es.
Foster a high-performing, collaboraê¢ve, and results-driven sales culture.
3. Channel and Distribuê¢on Management
â¢
Build and maintain strong relaê¢onships with distributors, wholesalers, and key accounts in the
region.
â¢
Opê¢mize the distribuê¢on network to ensure the availability and visibility of products across all
sales channels.
â¢
â¢
Idenê¢fy and appoint new distributors or channel partners in untapped areas.
Monitor inventory levels, resolve supply chain issues, and ensure eï¬ecê¢ve stock management.
4. Trade Markeê¢ng and Promoê¢ons

Collaborate with the markeê¢ng team to design and implement region-speciï¬c trade markeê¢ng and
promoê¢onal acê¢viê¢es.

Drive in-store visibility and product placement strategies to enhance brand presence.
Evaluate the eï¬ecê¢veness of promoê¢onal campaigns and provide feedback for improvement.
5. Key Account Management (General Trade)

Establish and nurture relaê¢onships with large-format retailers, pharmacy chains, and modern
trade partners.
Negoê¢ate annual business agreements, joint business plans, and markeê¢ng support with key
accounts.
Ensure category-speciï¬c objecê¢ves like planogram compliance, pricing, and promoê¢ons are
achieved.
6. Reporê¢ng and Insights

Prepare and present detailed reports on sales performance, market trends, and compeê¢tor
analysis to senior management.
