Senior Manager - IT (Fullstack Architect)

Role Overview:

As a Full Stack Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust software solutions. You will lead teams, ensure architectural integrity, and drive innovation in our development processes. This role demands expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies, along with a deep understanding of cloud platforms and architecture design principles.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Lead the design and development of full stack web applications, adhering to best coding practices and architecture principles to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.
• Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews of application source code to ensure quality and adherence to standards before deployment.
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance to the development team, assisting them in overcoming challenges and optimizing solutions.
• Agile Delivery: Work closely with Agile teams to ensure timely delivery of sprint objectives and adherence to Agile methodologies.
• DevOps Practices: Implement and promote DevOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Product Management: Collaborate with Product Managers in planning and executing new product releases, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Escalation Handling: Handle escalations effectively, providing timely problem resolutions and support to customers.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of 10+ developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Communication: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Define technical standards and best practices for software development.
• Develop and maintain architectural diagrams, documentation, and other artifacts to communicate the architecture to stakeholders.
• Evaluate new technologies and software components for possible inclusion in the architecture.
• Ensure that the architecture is scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Around 7-10 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in architecture design and hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP cloud platforms.
• Development Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), and client-side scripting with Angular.
• Architecture Expertise: Deep knowledge of architecture designing, coding best practices, and optimization techniques.
• Database Optimization: Experience in designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting databases.
• Agile Methodologies: Proficient in Agile development methodologies and product development lifecycle.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams, handle client interactions, and work under pressure.

Additional Requirements:

• Cloud Deployment: Experience deploying applications on public cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Development Tools: Familiarity with common development tools such as Git, Jira, Visual Studio Code, etc.
• Continuous Improvement: Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and improving existing processes.
• Familiarity with software development tools such as Git, Jira, and Jenkins.
