Graphic Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our team of Academics. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing various educational materials-posters, videos, flyers, educational games, and digital resources. Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer or a similar role with a background in school industry. This is a contractual role for 6 months.

Roles and responsibilities:

Collaborate with educators and instructional designers to create design concepts for educational materials.

Seek understanding of the audience of the content being created.

Design educational posters, videos, flyers, educational games, and digital resources for various educational levels and learning styles.

Develop visual concepts and mock ups to communicate design ideas.

Ensure all designs are visually appealing and meet educational standards.

Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Review final designs and make necessary revisions.

Requirements:

Knowledge of video creation and video editing software's.

Understanding of educational standards and learning styles.

Skills:

Expertise in video editing

Expertise in design software such as, Canva , PowerPoint, Prezi Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) etc

Storyboarding.

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Demonstrates a high level of proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.

Proficiency in English language -spoken and written communication.

Proficient in using e-learning platforms.

Skilled in delivering online and classroom training sessions.

Qualification:

• Bachelors /Masters in education or management with certification in use of video editing tools.
• Candidates with 3-5 years experience as training content developer & trainer or coordinator or supervisor in an educational organization.(Preferably in school).
• Should have created or reviewed/worked digital content (storyboards, animations, PPTs.)
