Optical Transport India R&D Director

This position is for a Director R&D in Bangalore, India. The key responsibility is to build and manage a World Class product development team as well as acting as the Facility leader. Objectives for this position are: - Responsible for the product development and driving the project in partnership with Sales & PLM teams to deliver quality products, initially in the Optical Transport / High Speed Ethernet product line. - Recruit and retain a highly-talented team of engineers potentially growing the team to 50+ Engineers - Govern Software Delivery Partners in India - Manage the R&D budget for the group - Mentor/Lead the team to be best in class in quality, innovation and time to market. Duties and Responsibilities - Manage multiple development projects, including detailed planning and scheduling, coordinating resource allocations based on established priorities - Recruit, retain, and lead a world class development team.
