Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Web Developer with over 8+ years of hands-on experience in multiple technology stacks for web and mobile development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of architecting, building, and scaling high-performing, secure, and reliable full-stack applications. You will lead a team of developers, drive key technical decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of scalable, maintainable solutions.

This role requires strong technical expertise across front-end, back-end, and cross -platform mobile development along with experience in leading engineering teams, mentoring junior developers, and working in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Development Projects:
  Take ownership of full-stack development, from designing backend architecture to building responsive frontends.
• Team Leadership & Management:
  Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers. Provide technical guidance, set goals, review performance, and facilitate a collaborative working environment.
• Project Planning & Execution:
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, QA) to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Code Review & Best Practices:
  Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development guidelines for the team. Ensure optimal code quality, security, and performance.
• Agile Development:
  Lead the development team in Agile methodologies, participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, and ensure projects meet deadlines and client expectations.
• API Development & Integration:
  Design and implement robust APIs and web services ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
• Problem Solving & Troubleshooting:
  Identify technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
  Work closely with stakeholders to gather project requirements, communicate progress, and provide technical recommendations.
• Implement continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the development lifecycle.
• Git Repository administration for all repositories maintained by the development team.
• Solution Architecture for projects and features requested.
• Security and Performance optimisation for code modules developed by team members.
• Code coverage and code reusability tracking.
• Lead the adoption of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for scalable hosting, automated deployments, and monitoring.
• Continuous R&D into emerging technologies, implementation and best practices.
• Effort Estimation for requirements or modules to be developed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:
• Strong proficiency in multiple Tech Stacks ( LAMP,JAMStack,MEAN,MERN,Django), with experience in building scalable web applications.
• Hands-on experience with applications implementing micro-services
• Proficient in front-end technologies (React,Vue,Angular,HTML/CSS).
• Proficient in cross -platform mobile application frameworks( Flutter, React Native)
• Familiarity with database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and database design.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong understanding of server architecture, deployment, and cloud platforms (AWS, Docker, etc.).
• Team Leadership:
• Proven experience in managing and mentoring development teams (at least 2-3 years of team management).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead team discussions and provide clear technical guidance.
• Agile Methodologies:
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, managing sprints, and delivering on timelines.
• Problem Solving:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to new challenges and technologies.
• Bonus Skills:
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks.
• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) frameworks such as Next.js or Nuxt.js.
• Experience with headless CMS systems like Contentful or Strapi.
• Exposure to machine learning or AI technologies within web or mobile applications.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques (e.g., caching strategies, lazy loading, code splitting).
• Experience working with real-time applications (e.g., WebSockets, Push Notifications, Pub/Sub systems).

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack web development with multiple Tech Stacks ( LAMP,JAMStack,MEAN,MERN,Django).
• 2+ years of experience in a lead or managerial role within a development team.
