Sr. Engineer Test Engineering - Network QA

QA Skills

• Problem solving skills and the ability to work with senior leaders to establish strategies.
• A solid working knowledge of metrics and models in product quality engineering.
• Established expertise in test methodologies and techniques.
• Demonstrated command and experience working with Test and Defect Management/Workflow tools GitLAB, JIRA, Confluence , Clearquest
• Familiarity with Software Development Life cycle (SDLC) and testing process
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Experience with SOA principles desired

Data Networking Product Testing

• Experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and Testing Network Products Routers, Switches , Network Cards, Storage.
• Experience in networking protocols e. g Ethenet, Vlan , TCP/IP, UDP , DHCP, SMTP, SNMP, Radius, Tacacs+, LDAP, NAT , Switching, Routing - Must
• Experience in Testing Network Protocol L2-L7 , Packet debugging, Tracing, Wireshark.
• Experience in Testing Firmware , Upgrades, Troubleshooting, Uboot, Device-Security in Linux based Network products - Must

Web/Api-Testing & Test-Automation to Networking Products

• Experience in Rest API Testing using PostMan/Talend is - Must.
• Experience in Red-Fish.
• Experience in CI/CD, Jenkings , Gitlab - pipelines.
• Experience in WebTesting to Networking Products. .
• Experience to Test Automation using Shell Scripting , Python , Pycharm , Go , Java-Script .
• Experience with industry standard SOA test automation tools.
• Experience with the test automation technology and automated test tools (TestComplete, Jmeter, HP-Quick Test Professional, IBM-Rational Functional Tester, IBM-Rational Performance Tester, HPLoadRunner)

System & Linux Test Skills

• Experience in Linux Networking & Linux Operating System skills on Embedded / Desktop / Server Linux platforms - Must
• Experience in LOM technologies, BMC, IDRAC , ILO , IPMI, BIOS.
• Experience in Linux Redhat/Ubuntu/SLES - Must
• Experience in Embedded Platform like microcontroller, RS232C, Modbus protocol will be added advantage.
