Microstrategy Administrator - LDAP (3-8 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled MicroStrategy Administrator to manage and maintain MicroStrategy servers and tools.

This role involves capacity planning, performance tuning, security administration, and seamless migration of applications from non-production to production environments.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and deploy MicroStrategy tools and clients.

- Manage MicroStrategy security and administration, including roles, LDAP groups, and user interfaces.

- Implement, test, and document new reporting/configuration packages for deployment.

- Perform content administration tasks, such as patching, folder/user management, and migrating content across environments.

- Support MicroStrategy configuration for new clients and database migrations.

- Assist internal and external clients with troubleshooting and conduct product demos.

- Diagnose and resolve reporting issues related to MicroStrategy configurations, cubes, reports, and dashboards.

- Set up monitoring and alerts for key performance indicators.

- Work with MicroStrategy tools such as Developer, Command Manager, Architect, Object Manager, and License Manager.

- Handle capacity sizing and planning for infrastructure components.

- Work with Linux/Unix environments, writing simple scripts for automation.

- Troubleshoot SQL-related issues, report failures, and manage server-level settings.

- Support change management, incident management, and other project activities.

- Understand IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and disaster recovery tools.

Skills and Qualifications Required :

- 3-8 years of experience as a MicroStrategy Administrator.

- Proficiency in MicroStrategy Cloud version and MicroStrategy AI/Auto Skill Set.

- Strong knowledge of SQL troubleshooting and performance tuning.

- Experience in capacity planning and infrastructure monitoring.

- Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix scripting.

- Familiarity with Tableau and Power BI administration is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
