Job Description :
Create the roadmap to launch certain software products or services in the market. Operate as the management focal point for the execution of the roadmap.
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions) :
- Define the customer problems that need to be solved and define the solution that can be deployed to address the need.
- Define the product roadmap which should include defining the problems that the product will solve and the release plan and features for the releases.
- Define product launch plan
- Work with Technical team that will be building the product and ensure that product build is per the product launch plan.
- Define how the product will be priced
- Define marketing plan
- Define target market and customers for the product.
- Define how to segment the market and potential customers.
- Define marketing collaterals, campaigns, websites etc. that will be needed to support the marketing plan
Basic Required Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree
- 10-15 years of total Experience
- 7+ years of digital product management experience leading programs from inception to launch.
Preferred Qualifications :
- 5+ years of complex and cross organizational project and program management experience in a business leadership capacity.
- Experienced in managing digital programs involving web portal development, deployment, enhancements and their integrations with other applications
- Experience managing product development and marketing of software applications or solutions in any industry.
- Excellent understanding of how Retail Industry and CPG industry works and the relationship between suppliers and retailers.
- Excellent project management skills and demonstrated competency in managing simultaneous execution of multiple projects and workstreams within the program
- Results driven with the ability to combine strong quantitative foundation with business acumen
- Excellent facilitation, negotiation skills, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and to all functional groups; the ability to translate technical requirements and issues into appropriate context
- Strong business acumen across multiple business functions in Retail (e.g. Sales, Distributions, Supply Chain, etc.)
- History of ability to maintain flexibility, multi-task, and deliver results in a deadline driven environment
