Chief Technology Officer/Head - Solar Projects - Renewable Energy/EPC Firm (18-25 yrs)

Position: Chief Technology Officer and Head-Solar Projects (Renewable Energy EPC Company)

Role:

- Technology Strategy Development for Solar Projects: Develop and execute the overall technology design strategy for the Company. This includes identifying new technologies, assessing their viability and potential impact, and implementing strategies for their integration.

- Creating a design template for the design team to follow which can be revisited every quarter based on Technology advancements and development in the market.

- Research and Development (R&D) Management: Set up and undertake R&D activities, including managing research projects, coordinating with external partners, and ensuring continuous improvement and optimization of existing technologies.

- Technology Assessment and Selection: Evaluate and assess various renewable energy technologies, equipment, and vendors to make informed decisions on technology selection and procurement. Stay updated on the latest developments in the renewable energy sector and identify opportunities for technology advancements.

- Technical Leadership and Team Development: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the company's technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

- Collaborative Partnerships: Foster strategic partnerships with external research institutes, universities, industry associations, and technology providers to stay updated and leverage industry best practices, collaborative research opportunities, and emerging trends in renewable energy technologies.

- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate technical risks associated with our projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements. Implement strong quality control mechanisms and robust review processes to ensure the technical integrity and reliability of the company's products and services.

- Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage the department's annual budget, ensuring effective utilization of resources, cost optimization, and alignment with the organization's overall financial goals. Monitor project progress and key performance indicators to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting objectives.

- Project Management of Solar Energy Projects: Ensure timely execution of projects on hand, Liasioning works for all such projects, planing and optimum use of resources to ensure efficient delivery and developing the vendors like Sub-contractors to ensure deliveries of projects are in line with our quality and standards.

Requirements:

- BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.

- 18+ years of experience with extensive experience in Designing, Technology and Project Management of Solar energy projects.

- Good understanding of technologies for renewable energy projects (especially Solar) with extensive Technology Design experience.

- Excellent Project Management and Project Execution Skills.

- Good communication & negotiation skills.

- Good Team Management Skills & Team Development experience.

- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
