What youll be doing...

The work you'll be doing will support mission and business-critical applications within Verizon. You will be enhancing the customer experience and building world class solutions. Under the mentorship of senior applications staff, you will work as a team member on various projects to develop, implement and maintain this important application along with Business engagement, architecting and building innovative solutions by applying cutting edge data science techniques.

• Working with a talented team of data analysts, software developers and data science professionals who will play a key role in developing and delivering the next generation AI/ML solutions to the business.
• Having a passion to understand domains, systems and be able to associate business opportunities to this understanding and create analytical solutions
• Discovering insights using data modeling and analysis techniques that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
• Creating data science driven solutions that drive product effectiveness, personalization, better customer experience and operational efficiencies.
• Working closely and engaging with key business stakeholders in discussion on business strategies and opportunities where data science and AI can be leveraged.
• Developing highly efficient and reliable applications with front end and backend technologies keeping security in mind.
• Understanding the domain knowledge and adapting to an agile environment.
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use in front end and back end technologies.
• Assertive and objective decision-making skills with the drive to deliver and arrive at solutions.
• Diagnosing business bottlenecks and providing prescriptive recommendations for stakeholders.
• Adhering to industry standards and best practices and understanding emerging technologies and trends to continuously improve the systems, application, infrastructure, and processes.

Youll need to have:

• Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant work experience.
• Two or more years of experience practicing data science in business and Exposure to GenAI and Prompt engineering.
• Strong hands on relevant work experience in full stack technologies - reactjs, java, springboot, nodejs etc
• Experience in working on a product team and with a Product mindset.
• Strong communication, presentation and collaboration skills and Strong Negotiation skills with the internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in identifying business opportunities and build impactful data science driven use cases.
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking capabilities.
• Experience working end to end in analytics projects.
• At an SME capacity, ability to groom the team on business process and data analysis.
• Prior experience working in a Product team and having a product mindset.
• Strong Consumer knowledge and experience.
• Excellent analytical skills and use case prioritizations to build the roadmap at the product level in alignment with the business and stakeholders.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Experience in leading data management and data analysis activities.
• Experience interacting and collaborating deeply with other lines of business & the ability to work across cross cultural teams.
• Expertise in performing thorough data analysis using database queries, spreadsheets, statistical packages & tools, and communicating results effectively.
• Exposure on Micro Front End architecture and experience in building reusable components
• Experience with dev-ops and agile models, as well as more traditional functional operating models.
• Experience managing time-bound project deliverables for multiple stakeholders.
