ServiceNow IRM Business Analyst & Developer

Contract Duration: 06 months

Responsibilities:

1. Business Analysis & Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
• Gather business requirements through collaboration with stakeholders.
• Ensure a clear understanding of product goals and translate them into technical solutions.
• Investigate, experiment, and articulate requirements, including user stories with proper acceptance criteria.

2. ServiceNow Development & Implementation:

• Implement and configure ServiceNow modules to meet business needs.
• Develop, customize, and integrate ServiceNow applications across various domains, including ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HRSD, SecOps, GRC, and Legal.
• Extend ServiceNow schema to custom applications and work on platform capabilities and Scoped Applications.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-quality code following ServiceNow development best practices.

3. Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership:

• Serve as a key technical resource and solution architect for ServiceNow implementations.
• Lead development of solutions and provide design architecture guidance in areas such as UI Builder, ITSM, ITOM, Portals, and more.
• Perform technical troubleshooting and resolve platform issues.
• Ensure compliance with IT application architecture and design methodologies across multiple platforms.

4. ServiceNow Integration & Security:

• Work with MID Server setup, troubleshooting, and third-party integrations.
• Implement and optimize REST, SOAP, AJAX, Business Rules, JavaScript, SSO- SAML, and Web Services (SRAPI, Import Set APIs).
• Ensure security best practices for integrations and data management.

5. Agile & Continuous Improvement

• Keep the product backlog up to date with the latest ServiceNow developments and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in implementation methodology and service offerings.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Must-Have Skills:

• ServiceNow Expertise: 8+ years in software development, with 6+ years in ServiceNow applications.
• Customization & Configuration: Experience in UI Builder, Workspaces, Now Experience Framework, and custom components.
• Technical Development: Proficiency in Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer, and ACLs.
• Integration & Security: Strong knowledge of ServiceNow integrations, MID Server, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and authentication mechanisms (SSO, SAML).
• Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Experience in all phases including analysis, design, development, security, system integration, and implementation.
• Leadership & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to lead teams, and work collaboratively with stakeholders.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred.
• Exposure to strategic technology innovation and product roadmap development.
• Experience with React.js for Now Experience Component Framework (NECF).
• Strong understanding of non-functional areas like performance, scalability, and user experience.

Certifications (Mandatory):

• ServiceNow CSA Certified System Administrator
• ServiceNow CAD Certified Application Developer
• ServiceNow CIS ITSM (plus at least one other: CSM, HRSD, SPM, etc., relevant to the domain)
