Backend Developer Lead

TITLE: UI Developer

DEPARTMENT: Software Development

REPORTS TO: General Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement visually appealing and user-friendly web interfaces.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into high-quality code.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases while reviewing code changes for UI components.
• Develop responsive web applications using modern front-end technologies (e.g., React.js, Angular.js).
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to web standards.
• Test and debug UI components, addressing any issues that arise.
• Document and maintain UI functionality and design specifications.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in UI development and incorporate new features and functionalities.
• Monitor user experience and gather feedback to enhance UI designs.
• Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Assist in integrating front-end components with back-end services.

TECHNICAL SKILLSET

UI DEVELOPER

• Proficient in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React.js or Angular.js.
• Experience with responsive design and frameworks such as Bootstrap or Material-UI.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and how to integrate them into UI components.
• Experience with tools like Figma or Adobe XD for design collaboration.
