Senior Credit Manager:

We are looking for superlative hustlers, stellar problem solvers and remarkable team players. Everything else is a plus plus. We are looking for folks who make credit underwriting the center of their universe, who push themselves and team members around them to solve problems in the best manner possible.

Responsibilities:

- Understand customer requirements and analyze cases in alignment with credit policies.

- Underwriting deals independently and recommend same as per hierarchy.

- Adhering to a strict TAT without compromising on credit quality.

- Work with the policy team to ensure the right risk parameters are captured and assessed.

- Understand industry and regulatory trends and their impact on customers to ensure the right decisions are taken.

- Work closely with internal stakeholders for quick resolution of queries and ad-hoc requests.

- Develop industry-best practices and constantly strive to improve the same basis market practices.

Qualifications:

- Experience in working on the lending business with a Bank, NBFC, or Fintech companies.

- Knowledge of analyzing financial statements.

- Understanding of industry trends and their impact on segments.

- Setup basic credit underwriting processes and scale up the vertical.

- Ability to assess customers' basis standard programs like Financials, Banking, etc.

- Proficient in MS Word and Excel and the ability to bring out insights from data.

- Working knowledge of platforms like Probe, MCA website, GST website, Bank statement analysis tools like Perfios, Finbit etc.

- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy & completeness.

Process:

Process: 2 interviews + 1 assignment

This gives you an opportunity to get to know the core team better and evaluate whether you'd like to spend a large proportion of your day with these individuals.

Total duration: We'll try and fit in our entire process into a two week window, not including the time you might need for any assignments

Interview content: The discussions test functional expertise, potential team dynamic, ownership levels, problem solving and creative thinking. Sometimes we ask open ended hypothetical questions, other times we just talk about your approach to solving problems. Irrespective, all discussions have a defined framework for success. By doing so we try to rule out the impact of personal biases on hiring decisions.
