Oracle CPQ specialist

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Oracle CPQ Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of our Oracle Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) solution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product management, and IT, to ensure the CPQ system meets business requirements and optimizes the sales process.
Responsibilities:
* CPQ Configuration and Development:
* Design, develop, and implement Oracle CPQ solutions, including configuration rules, pricing models, and workflow processes.
* Configure and maintain product catalogs, attributes, rules, and constraints within Oracle CPQ.
* Develop and maintain custom scripts and integrations to enhance CPQ functionality.
* Create and manage complex pricing rules, discounting strategies, and approval workflows.
* Implementation and Support:
* Participate in all phases of the CPQ implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
* Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Oracle CPQ users.
* Conduct user training and create documentation for CPQ processes and procedures.
* Business Analysis and Collaboration:
* Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to translate them into effective CPQ solutions.
* Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment between CPQ and business objectives.
* Identify and recommend process improvements to optimize CPQ utilization and efficiency.
* Work with Oracle support to resolve issues.
* System Maintenance and Upgrades:
* Perform regular system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle CPQ releases and features.
* Manage and test CPQ upgrades and patches.
* Reporting and Analytics:
* Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track CPQ performance and identify trends.
* Analyze CPQ data to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
