Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to penetrate and expand sales in government hospitals, public health institutions, and research centers.
• Identify and establish relationships with hospital administrators, purchase departments, biomedical engineers, doctors, and government healthcare decision-makers.
• Track and participate in government tenders, GEM (Government e-Marketplace) processes, and rate contract negotiations.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with government procurement policies and tender guidelines.
• Provide product presentations and technical demonstrations to key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with distributors and channel partners to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Stay updated on government healthcare policies, funding allocations, and upcoming tenders.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Regulatory, Finance, and Supply Chain) for smooth execution of institutional sales.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends within government hospitals.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and ensure timely collection of payments.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, Business, or a related field.
• 8-13 years of experience in institutional sales, tender management, or government hospital sales (medical devices preferred).
• Strong knowledge of government procurement processes, GEM portal, E-Tendering, and rate contracts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build long-term relationships with key stakeholders in government healthcare institutions.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
