Legal Executive

DIYA GREENCITY PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused CRM Executive to join our team on FULL Time ON SITE basis for the affordable group housing project Diya Greencity in Raj Nagar Extension Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.
This project is built under affordable housing policy of Awas Bandhu, U.P. Housing & Development Board. Uttar Pradesh Government.

Key Responsibilities

• Real Estate Transactions: Lead, advise, and negotiate a variety of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, leases, and development agreements.
• Due Diligence: Conduct legal due diligence for real estate transactions, including title and survey review, environmental assessments, and zoning/land use issues.
• Contract Drafting and Review: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to real estate, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, licenses, and development agreements.
• Risk Mitigation: Provide strategic advice to minimize legal risk in real estate transactions and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Dispute Resolution: Manage and resolve disputes related to real estate, including landlord-tenant issues, construction disputes, and breach of contract.
• Regulatory Compliance: Advise on zoning, land use, environmental regulations, and other local, state, and federal laws that impact real estate transactions and operations.
• Corporate Governance: Ensure that real estate matters align with corporate governance and business objectives, while managing legal exposure.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including real estate development, finance, and operations, as well as external partners such as brokers, contractors, and third-party counsel.
• Legal Research and Updates: Stay up-to-date on evolving real estate laws, market trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimize legal strategies.

Qualifications

• Education: degree from an accredited law school.
• Experience:
• At least 3 years of experience practicing real estate law, with a focus on commercial real estate transactions and development.
• Demonstrated expertise in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development.
• Experience with complex legal structures, joint ventures, and public-private partnerships is a plus.

• Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal research tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• In-house legal experience in a real estate-focused organization or law firm.
• Familiarity with commercial real estate finance and lending.
• Knowledge of environmental law and its implications in real estate transactions.
• Experience with real estate tax issues, including 1031 exchanges and property tax matters.
