Salesforce CLM Technical Architect (10-20 yrs)

Job Summary :

The Salesforce CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) Technical Architect is responsible for designing and delivering scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions that address complex business challenges. This role demands expertise in Salesforce technologies, systems integration, and enterprise architecture, as well as a strong ability to lead technical design sessions and collaborate with stakeholders. The Technical Architect ensures that solutions are built for long-term scalability and align with the client's growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather requirements, define deliverables, and manage expectations.

- Translate business requirements into scalable, well-architected solutions leveraging the Salesforce platform.

- Lead technical design sessions, documenting technical solutions, and identifying gaps between current and desired outcomes.

- Provide technical oversight and governance across Salesforce projects.

- Establish and enforce coding standards, leading code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to design patterns.

- Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration components.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues by performing deep dives into project challenges as needed.

- Participate in pre-sales activities, including discovery sessions, Proof-of-Concept (POC) development, and technical deep dives.

- Collaborate with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations.

- Maintain high billable utilization and contribute to the success of client engagements.

Minimum Requirements :

- Education : Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Experience will be evaluated based on core proficiencies such as leadership roles, volunteer work, or professional expertise.

- Experience : 9-14 years of CRM experience, with a minimum of 6 years on the Salesforce platform and CLM-specific experience preferred.

- Salesforce Expertise : In-depth knowledge of Salesforce product suite, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Community Cloud.

Architectural Skills :

- Strong understanding of systems architecture and the ability to design scalable, performance-driven solutions.

- Knowledge of data sharing, visibility considerations, and platform security capabilities (e.g., TLS, SSL).

- Familiarity with large data volume limitations, key design patterns, and best practices.

- Experience with authentication patterns such as SAML, SSO, and OAuth.

Technical Proficiency :

- Integration Tools : Hands-on experience with integrating Salesforce with various business systems (ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting).

- Environment Management : Expertise in release management, version control, and deployment methodologies.

- Strong development background with a complete lifecycle exposure for large web-based systems.

- Knowledge of Salesforce APIs, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and mobile development technologies.

Preferred Qualifications :

Active Salesforce certifications or the ability to achieve them upon hire :

- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)

- Salesforce Platform Developer I & II

- Salesforce Administrator

- Salesforce Certified CLM Specialist

- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) solutions and Salesforce-specific CLM tools.

- Proven experience delivering complex Salesforce implementations for enterprise clients.
