Installation:Install, configure, and program fire alarm systems and CCTV equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes..
Mount and position cameras and sensors for CCTV systems, ensuring optimal coverage and functionality..
Maintenance:Regularly inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm and CCTV systems to ensure they are in proper working condition..
Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning cameras and sensors, and replacing worn-out components..
Troubleshooting:Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with fire alarm and CCTV systems, identifying and repairing faulty components or connections..
Respond promptly to service calls and emergency situations to address system malfunctions..
Upgrades and Upkeep:Upgrade fire alarm and CCTV systems with new technology and software as needed to enhance performance and security..
Keep records of system modifications and updates for documentation purposes..
Compliance:Ensure that all installations and repairs comply with local and national fire codes, safety regulations, and industry standards..
Maintain knowledge of current regulations and guidelines related to fire alarm and CCTV systems..
Testing and Training:Conduct system testing and provide training to clients and end-users on how to operate and maintain the systems effectively..
Perform system tests and inspections required by authorities and regulatory agencies..
Documentation:Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including service reports, equipment inventory, and maintenance schedules..
Create as-built drawings and documentation for system installations and modifications..
Customer Service:Interact with clients, building owners, and other stakeholders in a professional and customer-friendly manner..
Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and effectively..
Qualifications.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year experience as a Fire alarm and CCTV Technician.
Proven experience as a fire alarm and CCTV technician..
Knowledge of fire alarm and CCTV system components, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques..
Familiarity with local and national fire codes and regulations..
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail..
Excellent communication and customer service skills..
Ability to work independently and in a team..
