Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Supervision:
• Supervise day-to-day production activities on the shop floor, ensuring smooth operations with both skilled and unskilled manpower.
• Lead and guide a team of fitters, welders, and other production staff to achieve daily production targets.
• Monitor and ensure efficient use of manpower and resources.
• Fabrication & Manufacturing:
• Oversee fabrication of mechanical tanks, vessels, and other equipment, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications and industry standards.
• Welding, Cutting, & Drilling Operations:
• Be well-versed in welding, cutting, drilling, and other operations involved in the fabrication process.
• Ensure that operations are carried out safely and in accordance with the established procedures.
• Material Planning:
• Coordinate material planning, inventory management, and ensure the availability of raw materials and components.
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials for uninterrupted production.
• Drawing Interpretation:
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Provide clear instructions to the team based on drawings and production requirements.
• Third-Party Inspections:
• Liaise with third-party inspectors to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards during inspections.
• Quality Control:
• Ensure strict adherence to quality control procedures and standards.
• Monitor product quality throughout the production process, identifying and resolving any issues promptly.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Monitor production metrics and provide regular updates to management regarding progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
