Role & responsibilities

● Administers the school to which he/she is assigned in accordance with Wyoming state law, Board policies and regulations, directives of the Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and good administrative procedure.

● Serves as the instructional leader of his/her school, articulating the middle school curriculum approach.

● Maintains an atmosphere within the school that is conducive to good learning and appropriate for the development of sound character.

● Conducts a program of effective management involving all building personnel, parents, and students.

● Arranges for the supervision of all curricular and extra-curricular activities which take place at the school or which are sponsored by the school

● Makes regular visits to classrooms. ● Coordinates the student observer and/or student teacher programs in his/her building.
