Civil Construction Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and review construction plans and specifications in collaboration with architects and stakeholders.
• Oversee construction operations on-site, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and enforce quality control standards.
• Create, review, and oversight over cost of materials, manpower, and the like.
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate amongst various teams to achieve project milestones.
• Prepare weekly/monthly and quarterly reports, documentation, and project updates for management review.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify potential hazards and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Resolve any engineering issues that arise during the construction phase.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in managing construction projects, preferably in greenfield development.
• Open to traveling both intra-state and inter-state. (Having your own vehicle is preferred)
• Proficient in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD Pro).
• Proficient in MS Office Suite specifically MS Excel.
• Previous work experience in projects in NOIDA/ Greater NOIDA is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of civil engineering and construction specifications, standards, and codes.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
• Proven project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills
• Willingness to perform site visits outside of business hours, as and when required.
